The gorge was very pretty. It was a short hike, but moderately steep. The employee working the visitor center today was very nice and extremely knowledgeable about the area'a attractions. Give him a raise!
Short but hilly treck. Would recommend for kids as its just a small loop, fenced off from danger and very pretty. Would definitely tucker out a few toddlers if they are in the realm of a nap.
Very accessible 1.6 mile trail around a deep gorge. Steep trail with plenty of roots to trip over but a sturdy chain link fence protects anyone from falling in. I was very impressed with the gorge but wasn't able to capture it in a photo. This is one of things you need to see in person. It is just a few steps from a parking area. Picnic tables are available. At the end of the trail loop, you can walk down to dip your toes in the water.
Fun little place to hike . Not long at all from start to finish but amazing site to see.
This well maintained state park features a beautiful gorge winding through the woods. Convenient parking just off NH Route 9, leads immediately to an easy hike on a well marked trail over and next to the gorge. Dogs allowed on lease. Includes information booth and small gift shop.
